With a new take on the retro running shoe, the GEL-KAYANO™ 14 running shoe recaptures the aesthetics of the 2000s as a nod to our renowned GEL-KAYANO™ series of running shoes. This version, which reinterprets the high-performance features of the shoes with updated materials and components, became the first edition in the lineage of these shoes designed by someone other than Toshikazu Kayano. The passing of this torch also served to revive the signature values of the shoes, while advancing their performance evolution. Replicating the original midsole design with GEL™ cushioning technology, these shoes also enhance the fit of the upper by retaining its 2008 layered leather and mesh design. In addition, the insole has been produced using a solution-dyeing process that reduces water consumption by 33% and carbon emissions by approximately 45%.
